Here are the terms associated with the staff. I plan to show the symbols along with the terms:
Staff – the five lines and four spaces upon which we write music.
Treble Clef – also known as the G-clef
Bass Clef – also known as the F-clef
Bar Line – divides the staff in to measures
Measure – the space between two bar lines
Double Bar Line – two single bar lines or a thin and thick bar lines usually used to signify a meter, key signature, or the end of a song.
Repeat Sign – used to have the performer repeat a section of a composition.
EGBDF – the names of the lines in the treble clef going from the bottom to the top. (saying Every Good Boy Does Fine)
FACE – the names of the spaces in the treble clef going from the bottom to the top
GBDFA – the names of the lines in the bass clef going from the bottom to the top (saying Good Boys Do Fine Always)
ACEG – the names of the spaces in the bass clef going from the bottom to the top (saying All Cows Eat Grass)
ABCDEFG – the names of the letter names used in music.
