The basic outline of the notebook/portfolio is pretty much the same as traditional notebooks. Each student's notebook/portfolio should include a title page, dividers for each topic area, and a section for miscellaneous items. Students should ask me if they are not sure where an item should be placed rather than not put the item in the correct topic area.
