Rubric (Assessment)
All students in seventh and eighth grade are required to keep a notebook/portfolio during their time in music class. The purpose of the notebook/portfolio is for the students to keep their notes and performance evaluations in a neat and orderly organized setting. With their notebook/portfolios neatly organized, the students will be able to practice better testing skills because they will not have to search all over the place for their notes and papers. The notebooks/portfolios will be assessed twice during the marking period. Once, at the mid-term point and the other time at the end of the marking period. The mid-term is worth 20 points and the final one is worth 60 points.
