Leader and Recorder Responsibilities

Here are the responsibilities for the group leaders and recorders.  I have also listed some goals for the cooperative learning groups during this unit.

Cooperative Learning Groups

Leaders:

1. You are responsible for your group and its behavior.
2. You need to be sure that everyone in your group participates.
3. You will need to see Mr. Garman if you have questions about any activity.
4. You will need to make sure that the names of all the members in your group are on the papers that are turned in.

Recorders:

1. You are responsible for all paperwork for the group.
2. You will need to be sure that the names of each member are on any papers turned in.
3. You will need to note on any papers the names of group members who are absent that day.
4. You will be responsible for getting and returning the journals for the members of the group.

GOALS FOR THE GROUPS:

1. Cooperative learning
2. Improved social skills
3. Individual accountability
4. Positive interaction
5. Positive interdependence
