Opera Presentation Rubric

Here is the rubric that I will use when assessing the Opera Presentations.

Group continued the opera story in a logical and interesting sequence.

Group continued the opera story in a logical sequence.

Group continued the opera story but it was hard to follow and not in sequence.

Group did not continue the opera story and it was not in sequence.

Singing (Aria and Recitative)

Group presented the opera scene with the whole presentation sung including an aria.

Group presented the opera scene with part of the presentation sung including an aria.

Group presented the opera scene with none of the presentation sung except the aria.

Group presented the opera scene with none of the presentation sung including the aria.

Libretto

Group's libretto is typed and contains all the parts of each member of the group.

Group's libretto is typed and contains only half of the parts of each member of the group.

Group's libretto is typed but only one member's part is included in it.

Group's libretto is not typed but contains all the parts for each member of the group.

Attitude/ Enthusiasm

All group members participate equally and contribute to the presentation.

Teacher Comments:

 

The Total score is times (X) 6.  e.g.:  a student who gets all fours would have a total of 20 x 6 = 120 for a final score.
